Q Are there any expenses that I can claim because I am a Foreign National?
A Provided that you satisfy certain criteria, you can treat your accommodation and food/subsistence costs as tax allowable. You can also claim the cost of your airfare for return visits to your homeland.

Q Can I claim any of the flight expenses for my family?
A The cost of two return visits per tax year to your homeland is tax allowable for your spouse and children.

Q Can I claim any other expense costs for my spouse or children?
A No. You cannot claim accommodation or food/subsistence costs incurred for your family. You accommodation cost must be limited to the equivalent of a one bedroom flat.

Q How much is Traveller XP?
A You pay an agreed monthly or weekly fixed fee (depending on the payment cycle of your client/agency) - we only charge when you are working! Through Traveller XP you can receive legitimate payment for the work you do in the UK. There are no registration fees or hidden costs to Traveller XP. If you decide to take time off to go travelling around the UK or Europe, you can simply pick the service back up whenever you are ready, without any hassle or additional cost.

Q What do I need to do now?
A All you need to do is fill in an online registration form. If you register with Traveller XP now, we can ensure all the administration is in place to enable you to be paid before you even step on to the plane. It doesn’t cost you anything to register with Traveller XP and you are under no obligation to use the service if you change your mind about working in the UK.

Q Do I need to sign a work contract before leaving home to benefit from Non Domicile expenses?
A No. Providing that you don’t work ANYWHERE else in the UK before you work through Traveller XP, you will still be able to claim Non Domicile expenses.

Q Will I always have to work through Traveller XP?
A No the beauty about Traveller XP is that there are no set up or close down fees. You can leave at anytime without any additional cost to your pocket. However HMRC’s strict rules which govern the Tax laws in the UK, state that Non Domicile expenses can only be claimed from the first employer.

Q How long will it take to set everything up?
A This depends on how quickly you wish to begin working. As soon as we have received your completed Pre registration form we can prepare all the appropriate channels, including bank, NI and UK SIM number, for your arrival in the UK. As soon as you confirm your employment contract we will check and process the contract and return it to your agency/client.

Q Does Traveller XP negotiate my agency contract on my behalf?
A Although our team of experts are available online 24 hours to offer advice and support Traveller XP does not get involved in the negotiation of agency contracts.

Q Does Traveller XP sponsor my visa application?
A No. Although Traveller XP has lots of information about working in the UK, which includes A Passport and Visa section, we cannot apply for your visa on your behalf.

Q Does my agency contract take precedence over any agreement I may have with Traveller XP?
A Yes. The terms and conditions of your agency contract must be adhered to as a matter of priority. It is however highly unlikely that the provisions in your contract will conflict with the provisions of Traveller XP.
