JSA Making a Positive Contribution in the Community

As we now celebrate our 21st anniversary, JSA is able to reflect proudly on what we have achieved over the years. For this reason we understand how our continued work and partnerships at every level are essential to making a world of difference.

JSA is involved in raising money for the following charities:

  • The Teenage Cancer Trust
  • Help for Heroes
  • The Peace Hospice in Watford
  • Colnbrook Junior School, Watford

We have set up a JSA charity fundraising page via the Virgin giving website to support our chosen charities and would like to use this to raise awareness about our fundraising activities amongst our customers and suppliers: To visit the virgin giving website, click here...

Fundraising activities take place on a regular basis at JSA. Whether it be a ‘dress-down’ day, prize-giving raffles, competitions or ‘wear a wig’ day, our Social Committee works hard to organise and plan regular events to support our charities.

Volunteer work at a local level

Often it is the smaller, more local organisations that require that extra bit of help to get the public awareness they need. So, in addition to supporting the larger charities, JSA takes the time to focus on the smaller, local or community based organisations which have a special place in the hearts of our team.

One of the ventures that we proudly support is The Peace Hospice - an organisation that works hard to enhance the quality of life for people with cancer and other life-threatening diseases in South West Hertfordshire.

Here we like to take a more hands-on approach and our staff plan to regularly volunteer at the hospice.

Donations

We find our voluntary work very rewarding and humbling and it is mutually beneficial for all involved. But we understand that, for some, the opportunity to go out and support the local community is not always possible. At JSA, we encourage all our staff, partners and suppliers to try and make a direct contribution from source.

How you can help

If you’d like to find out how you can contribute, either through our benefits scheme, YouAtWork, through volunteering, a donation or via our fundraising page, please get in contact at: info@jsagroup.co.uk.
