Referring your contractors to JSA couldn’t be simpler and safer for you. When you refer candidates to JSA, we will discuss the available options open to them, explaining all relevant rules and legislation in the process. We will keep you updated on our products, our contractors and more importantly , about chaing legislation. This will help to make you more confident when dealing with the variety of questions you may often be asked by contractors. JSA will keep you appraised of important industry changes from things like AWD.
When a candidate is referred to JSA, they are assessed strictly in accordance with all of the industry legislation. If this means that we believe certain workers will not benefit financially from an arrangement with JSA, then we will advise them and you of this, and outline the reasons why. A good example of this is lower paid candidates that are caught by IR35 trying to use a Limited Company. Our reputation is built around our knowledge and expertise in our field. We always give honest advice to you and your workers, which is the basis for all good working relationships.

How does it all work?
- Once a contractor is referred to JSA, all of their details are entered into our bespoke systems
- As soon as the contractor has been signed up, you will be informed
- All of the relevant paperwork is obtained and / or drawn up.
- When the contract / assignment schedule is received, the contractor is fully set up
- We ascertain the expected start date of the contract
- We ensure the payment process is set up and ready
- If this is your first referral, the JSA payroll team will contact your payroll departmen to agree operating procedures:
- We jointly ensure that the contractor is paid on time
- When funds are released by you, we release a BACS payment to the individual’s bank account.
- An invoice is then raised to the value of the payment plus VAT (where applicable).
- We will progress each candidate's expenses to avoid them incurring any reduction in net pay
- When an assignment is due to end, the JSA Contract Renewal Team will contact your candidate
- We will confirm any extension, and request the appropriate supporting documentation
